Pimm’s Production Equipment Ltd. is a full service instrument, electrical and production equipment company. We employ instrumentation mechanics, parts people, machinists, shop workers, industrial information technologists and a whole team of support people in our accounting department.

There are several categories which these career opportunities fall into:

Instrumentation
An Instrumentation Apprenticeship gives you the skills and knowledge to install, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all manner of mechanical devices which are used for measuring and regulating. These mechanical devices will also be used in the control of operation, production and safety in industrial environments such as oil and gas.

Electrical
In an Electrical Apprenticeship, you gain all that is needed to provide power, control feedback and related infrastructure, complete interfacing with instrumentation, and work with operational and environmental devices and controls.

Industrial IT
As technology advances, the demand for qualified industrial IT grows. In this area, you can expect to be involved with programming, electronics troubleshooting, satellite networks, telecommunications and all manner of computer work.

Millwright
Fabrication is the word of the day in this area. Creativity and problem solving are just 2 of many skills you will acquire. You will be building and modifying structures, stands, bracketing, tools and implements.

Products Repair
This discipline incorporates all of the above. Although people usually specialize in one, eventually you will use all of these skills in tearing down, cleaning, servicing, troubleshooting and rebuilding electrical and mechanical devices and controls.
